No matter my destination each spring, I have two favorite essentials: a tote bag and flat espadrilles. Read the post to see how I style my favorites from Sakroots.
Spring Essentials
I still remember my first spring after college graduation. I was working my first big kid job, working more hours than ever before and making more money than ever before. I was enjoying my first few months at my job, but I remember it hitting me that I would never have a spring break again. Like, ever. I never actually did much for spring break when I was in school though, I’d either go home or volunteer. I did do my fair share of travel in college though and frequented the beach. For either occasion, I had two definite must-haves: a large tote and some comfortable flat espadrilles. I pretty much always try to keep at least one of each in my wardrobe because they are such essentials.
This Sakroots XLG tote is absolutely perfect to carry all of your essentials, whether you’re out for a day in the city or headed to the beach for spring break. I love the bright and colorful print to carry everything I need. The clear tote is perfect to hold your beach towels, sunscreen, bottle of water, etc. But it’s equally helpful for a beautiful spring stroll. The tote comes with a little zipper pouch – perfect for your ID, phone, and any other little necessities.
My other absolute must-have is a good pair of flat espadrilles. I’ve never owned a pair of Sakroots espadrilles, but let me tell you, these do not disappoint. They have a really cushy sole and feel very strong. I walked around in them all day and felt so thankful to have them on my feet. I couldn’t help but notice how comfortable my feet were because normally I’m thinking about how much I can’t wait to get my shoes off.
