White Eyelet Top

I’m baaaack!  Thanks for hanging in there but I needed to take a minute.  I quit my job and Thursday was my last day.  I just wanted to finish out strong without any distractions.  Now I can continue doing what I love (i.e., blogging) and devote it the time it deserves.  What’s next you ask?  For now, more of this.  I have some hefty goals and for right now blogging better is one of them.  So there will be some fun things in store for my followers and one of the things I can promise is that I will be much more present here and on socials.

Anyway, I know you come for the outfits so let’s get back to the fun stuff.  Although summer doesn’t technically end until next month, the beginning of school always feels like the end of summer.  In my area, kids are going back to school this week and that is a signal to me that summer is coming to an end (cue images of boots, sweaters, scarves).  As such, I’ve felt like squeezing in all of my favorite summer looks before I store them for next year (or some creative winter post that calls for summer pieces? I don’t know…).  One look that says summer more than any thing is white eyelet.  I picked this top up on sale at Nordstrom recently and have been loving it.  This adorable Joie tote also says summer to me.  I’ve had it for a while and then realized that it had never been featured on the blog.  I think it pairs quite nicely with the light and airy top!  It’s a great little tote to carry all of my essentials.

While I’m excited for fall, I’m sad to see summer go.  I now feel the need to go try on all of the cute swimsuits I bought this year and never wore.  Yeah, I’ll go to the beach. I’ll wear this for sure!  Oh, definitely!  I should get two…. (this happens every year)
