Summer Vacay Essentials

Babbleboxx Vacay San Antonio

Summer is almost in full swing (next Thursday is the first official day of summer) and Nick and I celebrated with a little getaway to San Antonio, TX. We have lots of trips on the schedule this year but this one was a little surprise that just ended up working out perfectly. We met up with Nick’s mom and sister to just hang out for a couple of days and it was so nice.We stayed at Hotel Valencia, a charming hotel right on a quiet end of the River Walk.I worked all week, so we divided our time between work, sight seeing and eating, and a little R&R in our room. Knowing I would want to take some time to unwind, I packed my summer vacay essentials from Babbleboxx.

Summer Vacay Essentials

Bali Comfort Revolution Bra

This is honestly the most comfortable bra I’ve ever worn. Its seamless design is comfortable all around and the Cool Comfort™ fabric wicks moisture, making it PERFECT for that San Antonio heat. I wear it under t-shirts and dresses alike and even wore it for an in-room yoga sesh (like, I did yoga by myself in my room).

BELLAME Acqua Lumiere Hydrating Moisturizer & Eye Cream

The Lumiere Hydrating Moisturizer is lightweight and ultra hydrating. Use it to target fine lines, wrinkles, and other signs of aging both morning and night. I’ve actually been using this on my hands as well because I feel like somehow that’s where I’m showing my age lately. It feels so smooth and hydrating without being heavy at all.

The Lumiere Hydrating Eye Cream is a silky, innovative hydrator designed specifically for the eye area. It is designed to soften fine lines and deflate puffiness and diminishing dark circles. I really enjoyed this eye cream and plan to incorporate into my daily routine. I NEED A good eye cream and I love the way this one feels the moment I put it on.

Bonus: Receive a FREE set of six ultra-luxe BELLAME bamboo sourced washcloths with the purchase of The ACQUA LUMIERE COLLECTION. Gift Valued at $22.

Faustino I Gran Reserva

This wine is the perfect choice for a relaxing hotel night in with your person. When Nick and I are traveling, we usually designate one night to stay in our room and just chill with a movie and some tasty food and drink. Even with all the exciting and fun activities that go along with traveling, we always find ourselves looking forward to our “hotel night”. It’s just great to relax and be together, plus we really love hotels (and so does Milo). Bodegas Faustino is Spain’s largest producer of Gran Reserva wines and a proud custodian of the Rioja’s international reputation for world-class wines. This delicious blend of Tempranillo, Graciano, & Mazuelo is aged 26 months in French and American oak barrels & at least 3 years in the bottle! I’m not great at describing wines. I’ve also been either breastfeeding or pregnant for the past year and hardly ever drink. I did try this one, though, and it really is delicious.

My Ex Life Book

My Ex Life, the new novel by bestselling author Stephen McCauley, is a modern look at love and friendship. It’s a light summer read about two ex-spouses decades after their divorce. Their lives have taken them different places and, now in mid-life, it’s been years since they last spoke. It’s current and fun and had me laughing out loud as I’ve been reading it over the past couple weeks. I actually downloaded the audiobook so I could listen on the plane as well. I listened to it the whole flight while Milo slept in my arms. It’s a perfect read for your summer vacay!

OMM Thickening Hair Mask & Thickening Oil

The Thickening Hair Mask: is a super rich and deep conditioning leave-in treatment. It’s reparative and weightless with a lovely jasmine scent. I’m a huge fan of hair masks (I try to do one weekly) and this one did not disappoint.

One of my favorite products in the entire box is probably the Thickening Oil. This leave-in treatment oil is super light and smells great. It’s non-greasy and nourishes, repairs, and strengthens hair roots. I also found it really helpful for combatting frizzy hair in the humidity. Definitely adding this to the lineup of hair products I use on the regular.

Try it for yourself with 20% off. Use code SUMMER until September 15, 2018.

Erin’s Faces Deet Free Mosquito Repellent & Sunstick SPF 30

I am so excited to try the Deet Free Mosquito Repellent. It’s a vegan mosquito repellent that uses essential oils (Eucalyptus, Citronella, and Lemongrass) to keep mosquito bites at bay. I have been looking for a safer mosquito repellant and this one is safe for most everyone – pregnant women (wish I had known about this when I was preg), babies over 6 months, children, and dogs! Milo isn’t *quite* old enough, but I know I’ll be happy to have this on hand during our summer activities (zoo days, movies in the park, trail walks/runs).

I’m also excited to try the Sunstick SPF 30. It’s perfect to throw in my purse or Milo’s bag. It’s water and sweat-resistant, goes on smooth, and smells really good! It provides UVA/UVB Protection from Non-Nano Zinc as the sole SPF ingredient and is packed with organic goodies.  It is also sheer and lightweight. Because it’s baby/child-safe, we used it for Milo on his trip to the San Antonio Zoo!

Both Erin’s products are PETA Certified Cruelty-Free!

Use code BABBLEBOX05 to get 10% off now through Sept 30, 2018.
