Off the Shoulder Pleated Dress

If there’s one trend that kept my attention throughout all of 2016, it was definitely off the shoulder. OTS actually became popular last year (maybe even earlier) but it totally maintained momentum throughout the entire year. So when I spotted this adorable pleated off the should dress, I knew I had to give it a shot.

I absolutely adore this pleated off the shoulder dress. I recently saw it online and was so drawn to it. Not only do I love off the shoulder everything (yes, even in winter), but I also love pleats. I’ve been a huge fan of pleated midi skirts, but I wanted to mix it up. This dress is so pretty, but it’s a bit too long for me. I had to hold it up to keep it from swallowing me whole. I didn’t see it in a petite so I ordered the regular size. While it’s a bit ill-fitting on me, I still wanted to share in case you’re a little bit taller. I think it makes a wonderful holiday dress. I had originally paired this look with a faux fur stole, which looked pretty, but I took it off because I couldn’t keep it on and hold my dress with the wind! #reallife
