One of my favorite shoe styles for the season is the bootie. It goes with everything – jeans and tees, edgy jackets, cozy sweaters, dresses. This season, I’m taking a new spin on the usual western bootie and opting for a pair with open toes and cutout heel.
New Western: Open Toe Booties
I’m seriously loving this take on the western booties trend. Aside from the open toe and cutout details, I’m also digging the perforated style and zipper as well as the height of both the boot itself and the heel. These are comfy enough to walk around in all day and add a chic look to my favorite fall looks. I’ve pretty much replaced all my other fall booties with these for now and can’t wait to style them time and time again.
I paired my booties with my favorite distressed jeans and my favorite fall trend, the lace-up sweater for a beautiful fall day strolling through a local historic district and checking out all the fall decor. Nick and I will have guests here and there over the next couple months so we spent the other half of the day shopping for a few new things for the house. You know…sheets, towels, and, of course, pumpkins. What fall decor is complete without pumpkins? And what fall look is complete without booties?
You can find these shoes in black here and a similar pair here. (c/o DSW)
Happy Tuesday! Hope your week is off to a great start!
