Floral Peplum + Mint

Just dropping in to share a fun little outfit post with you.  What a fun mix of colors and prints.  I am a huge fan of denim in different colors but I have not had incredible luck finding the right pair until I found these at Delia’s.  I tend to think of Delia’s as a store from pre- and young teens, but being petite I actually find stuff there every now and then.  I love this pairing of colored denim with neutral shoes and a neutral bag.  In black and white, the top is neutral as well.  However, there is plenty of interest in the top with the peplum cut, floral design, and unique texture (the floral pattern has a sort of faux embroidery feel).  The bow on the shoes and the ostrich texture on the bag also add interest.

PS – Side note about this adorable bag (worn as a clutch in my last post, here).  I purchased this bag on clearance at Target for traveling.  It is a crossbody but the strap is a little bit shorter than usual which is quite nice for travel because it allows you to keep the bag close to your body.  However, the strap is removable so it easily becomes a very chic clutch for dinner.  This is the only purse I brought with me on my trip and it has served me well so far.  Check out your local Target to see what kind of great deal you can score on one of your own.
