Fur Vest
I LOVE the this trend! I think I wanted a fur vest when I was a kid but I never had one. If Nick had his way, I still wouldn’t have one. He HATES them…with the same passion that I love them with (maybe a greater passion). I think he thinks they are too gaudy. Like, a girl instantly looks like a diva if she is wearing one. But I now have one and I like it, whether it makes me look like a diva or not (I’m not). I don’t just love it for its trendiness or diva-esque qualities though. In fact, there are several things I like about this vest in particular. 1) It’s warm and cozy. 2) It’s reversible. So, if the abundance of fur gets to be too much, I can tone it down. That works, right? 3) Saving the best for last here…it has pockets (a total of four – two inside and two out)! I’m not sure what this obsession with pockets is but I sure do like them, especially when they can actually hold things without looking incredibly bulky. For example, at the very moments these photos were taken, I had no less than seven items in my pockets: cell phone, lipstick, lip gloss, mascara, keys, debit card, and license. But you’d never even know. So there ya have it. Fur vests are good for more than just looking cute. They can also be incredibly useful. They are also relatively easy to style. Wear with boyfriend jeans, a white button down, and pumps, pair with a flirty fall dress and tights, or throw one on with a silk blouse, leggings, and boots.
