Mae’s wearing: H&M fringe cardigan (available in stores; similar) | ankle zip leggings via TJ Maxx (similar from Gap)| Target flats (old, similar) | Old Navy tee | Merona ostrich clutch | J. Crew iPhone 5 case
Emma’s wearing: Old Navy Tee | Old Navy sparkle jeans | Columbia Fleece | New Balance “running shoes” (she’s super proud of these)
You might notice that some cuteness is making an appearance on my blog today. That’s my darling niece, Emma, who wanted to be photographed. She’s a stylish gal so I obliged. It doesn’t hurt that she is so stinkin’ cute.
In other news, I am thrilled to be visiting my family in Colorado. Some of my fondest memories are from visiting here growing up. The mountains are so peaceful and even the chilly weather is enjoyable. Let’s just say that 50 degrees in Denver is not the same as 50 degrees in Atlanta. I repeat….not. the. same. It has also been raining a good bit here which, despite all of the news coverage of the floods as of late, is quite surprising to me. In my 20+ years of visiting Colorado, I do not think I have ever seen rain here. Ever. Until now. I can go ahead and check that off my bucket list.
What are some of your favorite childhood memories?

Special thanks to my sister, Jennifer, for snapping these shots for me. And to my Papa for teaching me some new photo editing skills.
Love both outfits! Emma does add quite a bit of cuteness to you’re photo!
“Your” not “you’re”! My darn device keeps changing “your” to “you’re”.
