A floral tiered ruffle blouse is the ideal addition to an all denim ensemble to keep the look fun and flirty.
Can we just talk about this tiered ruffle blouse for a second? I don’t think I’ve fallen in love a blouse as this much since, well, pretty much ever. It’s so pretty and feminine and the epitome of everything I want to wear this spring.
Floral Tiered Ruffle Blouse
Happy Tuesday, loves! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. We had a beautiful weekend celebrating Easter. We went to an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, went church on Sunday morning, then went lunch with our friends/pastors, took a way-too-long nap (oops), then walked around in the late afternoon/early evening on Sunday. The weather was absolutely beautiful and I am feeling so refreshed.
Lately I’ve been obsessed with iced green tea lattes with coconut milk and have been getting way too many. I’ve recreated them at home a few times but can’t quite get the matcha powder to coconut milk proportion exactly right and can’t figure out how I like them sweetened. Any ideas? Send help. I’m spending too much money!
I’ve also been obsessed with flirty florals, a happens in the spring. Naturally. When i spotted this top during Shopbop’s sale last week, I knew I needed it in my wardrobe. It’s so beautiful. The print, the fabric, the layers, the sleeves. It’s perfect. When I first tried it on, though, I was a tiny bit disappointed because it’s shorter than I expected. Not to worry, though. A little self tanner goes a long way and now I think this top offers a delightful little peekaboo. I’m not usually one to show my midriff, like, at all. But for some reason I’m liking this fit sooo much. If you’re not a midriff-shower either, just wear with high waisted jeans. Problem solved. I love this top paired with my favorite DL1961 jeans (I’ve had this pair for years) and Topshop denim jacket. The floral print breaks up the denim on denim look and it hardly feels masculine as a typical Canadian tuxedo would. I added my favorite straw hat, TB wedges (also had these for a few years), and Kate Spade bag all in neutral hues to round out the look.
