Floral Midi Skirt

The skirt is one of my favorites from this summer.  I originally wore this to coffee talk at #SBSCon but somehow forgot to do an outfit shoot with it.  Now, summer is coming to an end (even more so now that it’s September) so it seems like there’s no place in my wardrobe now for a floral skirt.  However, I think that a floral transition is a great transition piece for fall.  Even though this is a bright skirt, the denim jacket is a fall staple that instantly takes this skirt into some slightly chillier months.  I can also see this skirt with a cropped sweater.

I’m a sucker for fall fashion but that generally means jeans or leggings, boots, scarves, and layers on top.  But I’m really looking forward to branching out this fall and trying some unexpected prints and patterns, especially florals.
