My love for sneakers runs deep. My favorite shoes growing up were a pair of black, knock-off Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars that were “just like dad’s” (his were real) and my infatuation with sneakers just never went away. My dad used to have like ten pairs of Chucks in his closet so that when he wore one pair out, he had a backup. As a little girl, there were my original #goals. While I love sneaks for their casual qualities and ability to express my style while maintaining comfort, I’ve recently decided that sneakers don’t have to equal super casual. 
I like jeans any day of the week, but sometimes I like to feel like I’ve put a little more effort into my look (you know, without actually putting in the effort). Lately, I’ve been reaching for this little black bodycon dress when I want to feel cool and chic without sacrificing comfort. It’s still been too hot for this leather jacket, but I broke it out during a fleeting cool morning the other day for a coffee run and grocery store visit and I felt like such a cool kid.
This look might scream “night out” with heels, but I reached for these adorable Adidas Sneakers from DSW to give it a laid-back feel that was equal parts daytime casual and edgy dinner date. I honestly didn’t want to take it off. In fact, I wore this exact same look with a denim jacket another day and I think this is going to be my new go-to. I love that this look can go straight from daytime errands to dinner with my guy.
DSW is always one of my first stops when I’m looking for new shoes and I’m so excited to be partnering with them to share my favorite styles over the next several weeks. First up is, obvsiously, sneakers and I wish I could style like ten pairs because I’m absolutely obsessed right now. Give me alllllll the Adidas Sneakers, and the Nikes, and the Converse, and all the other sneakers.
