1. Urban Decay Urban Defense tinted moisturizer in body guard
I picked this tinted moisturizer up on Hautelook a while ago and I was so excited about it (and the price) that I bought three. I haven’t regretted this decision yet. This tinted moisturizer has an SPF 20 so I like to wear this on days when I don’t feel like wearing much makeup. However, I wear it almost every day in combination with the product no. 2.
2. Tarte BB tinted treatment
This BB treatment is my absolute favorite! It has a really nice, almost matte texture. It really can be worn alone, as it actually has pretty decent coverage. I like a lot of coverage though so I generally wear this in place of a moisturizer/liquid foundation mix. Sometimes I cover it with a bareMinerals powder. You should always wear an SPF even if you don’t think you’ll be getting much sun exposure. Your skin is constantly being exposed to harsh UV rays – even when you least expect it (case in point, when you’re driving). This product has an SPF 30, which makes me feel protected. Plus, the texture, like I mentioned, is really nice. It almost makes me think of my old favorite, bareMiners Prime Time primer, but tinted. I used to mix my foundation with Prime Time, but with a BB, there’s no need to.

I also found 3 and 4 on Hautelook and have been loving them ever since. I check the beauty section of Hautelook daily – they have some real gems but you have to jump on them quickly. Naturally, the best things won’t last long.
5. Benefit Cosmetics Coralista blush
This is a longstanding favorite that I don’t see going anywhere anytime soon. I’ve mentioned this in a previous post, but I got this with my VIB points when I was in college and have been buying it ever since. It also lasts quite a while. I wear this daily and I think I am on my third one now.
6. Stila face luminizer in sun highlighter
Love this for contouring and defining cheekbones!
7. Stila all over glimmer loose powder in sheer gold
This is probably at the top of my list next to no.2 and no. 5. I use this as a setting powder under my eyes – the little shimmery flecks reflect light. I also use it to highlight my brown bones and on the tip of my nose.
8. Stila hydrating finishing powder
This is a great finishing powder and is the last thing I apply before mascara.
9. Lip gloss from H&M (similar)
Just picked this lip gloss up at H&M recently. The deep red color is so gorgeous but, in a gloss, it’s not overbearing. If you’re looking to try a darker lip color but aren’t quite ready to go full-on lipstick, start here.
10. NYX Matte lipstick in tea rose
What I love most about this lipstick is the color. The tea rose is a dark pink color that I’ve been wearing a lot lately (see here). I personally think it looks a little more purple in person than it does in photos but I am loving it either way. The matte finish is nice, but I so often wear gloss over lipstick that it doesn’t always make a difference.
11. Maybelline Great Lash lots of lashes
I admittedly am not incredibly committed to any specific mascara. I switch it up basically every time I purchase a new mascara, though I do keep this one in my rotation. I tend to alternate drugstore mascaras like this one with high(er)-end mascaras (my favorite is benefit’s They’re Real).
