We had a little burst of warmer weather recently and I could not wait to get out and see the sun. All of the outdoor places we frequent for shoots were PACKED with people who apparently could not wait to see the sun either. People were jogging, walking their dogs (who we surmise haven’t had exercise in months), playing frisbee, laying out on blankets… It’s strange to think that in the same week we had a low of 7 degrees (and countless pipes burst in my neighborhood), we also had 55 degree weather! It’s also strange when 55 seems warm. Nevertheless it’s a sort of beautiful contrast, like the contrast between classy and casual. There’s something that just makes sense about a classy bow pump, distressed denim, and a casual sweatshirt.
