Cardigan: Banana Republic (similar) | Blouse: Gap (similar)| Jeans: Joe’s via Shopbop (on sale!) | Pearls
You’ve seen these jeans here before so I won’t clutter your screen with more pictures or spend too much time talking about how great they are (and they are great!). However, I did think of a couple things about them that you might benefit from knowing if you are interested in buying coated denim: 1) they maintain color well and 2) they repel water (of course). I wear these jeans quite often, as you well know, and have not yet noticed any significant fading even with washing and (sometimes, guiltily) drying. Perhaps it is because they repel water. I’ve noticed that if I spill anything on my legs it just beads up and rolls off. For a klutz like me, that’s a no brainer!
Enough about the jeans. I have/had a major obsession with cardigans. In fact, in college, I was sometimes known for my “uniform.” I basically wore a v-neck tee, jeans or dress pants, and a light cardi with flip flops (I lived in Florida), flats or pumps every. single. day. But it worked for me. I used to hate my arms, so I enjoyed the coverage of a cardigan. Jeans and a v-neck seemed like the perfect canvas to experiment with different accessories and colors. I’d like to think I’ve grown since then. I’ve recently decided to get rid of a lot of stuff (again) so I’ve found a lot of cardigans hanging out in my closet and thought I’d share.
Happy Monday!
Love that mustard cardigan! So pretty!
