Lately I’ve had a little bit of a thing with wearing old pieces from my closet. I go through phases where I’m super bored with my wardrobe and, if I don’t feel like dishing the dollars to just build a new one, I dig deep and pull out some old gems I haven’t worn in a long time. This embroidered dress has been in my closet for years, like years years. I bought it on a trip to California with my grandmother when I was 16. I only wore it a couple times before deciding it wasn’t my style. I’ve been loving embroidered pieces lately though and this thing was hanging in my laundry room so I decided to give it a chance. I’m kinda loving it.
Never mind the safety pin in nearly every pic. It was my failed attempt to keep this dress from being too low cut. Better luck next time.
Happy Friday, loves! Hope you have an incredible weekend. I’ll be headed to St. Louis with my mom and sisters (follow on snapchat: mae_nunez and instagram). Hopefully I’ll get some much needed rest and return recharged and ready to tackle some big projects I have up my sleeve. I’ve been traveling all summer and lots of random little things keep occurring, making for a bananas summer. As much as I love summer, I’m ready for some routine again.
