Every fall it seems that I immediately jump to swooning over booties and boots and big scarves, but this fall I want to make sure not to neglect one of my favorite accessories, handbags. I’ve selected a few of my favorites, but I think I’m going to be sticking with a lot of my bags from last year and just incorporating a few new ones. In my opinion, the ideal fall handbag collection would consist of at least one nice black bag, one tan bag, and one colorful bag (mauve, maroon, or hunter green are my favorites right now). Ideally there’d be at least one bucket bag, one satchel, one crossbody, and one tote, but that’s not a reasonable collection to develop overnight. So if you’re just now starting a collection, I’d opt for a classic tan or taupe bag as these can be worn year round. A bucket bag is a fun option, but a tote or satchel is certainly a versatile option.
