Happy Monday! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. Whether you celebrated Valentine’s Day or Galentine’s Day or didn’t celebrate anything at all, I hope that you enjoyed yourself.
Today’s look is just a simple and comfy look that I’ve been sporting a lot lately. I’ve been living in this v-neck knit sweater and actually ordered a pink one because I’m so fond of this one. If you read Mae Amor often, you know I value comfort. But something about dressing for comfort seems acceptable to me when I am wearing significant heels. It’s just like, “Yeah, I’m cozy, but I am giving it an effort.”
While proportions matter for any look, I think balance matters more. You may interpret that as you wish, but it’s something I remind myself of often when styling looks. Whether that means pairing tailored pieces with loose and flowy pieces or pairing a lace skirt with a moto jacket, balance is a key element of many of my favorite looks.
Wearing:
Sweater | Jeans | Jacket (here & here) | Bag | Shoes | Sunglasses (similar) | Necklace
Hope you have an amazing Monday!

I’m not the biggest fan of V-neck sweaters on myself but you look great here! I love the teal color too!
That’s a beautiful sweater! I could never wear sweaters and make them look stylish. Yours looks amazing!
This look is perfect – except for the shoes it would be great for a long flight!
Can we talk for a second about your beautiful, neutral-toned eye makeup here? It looks great!
Great color on the sweater. I believe in comfort without heels.

love the sweater
I love v-neck sweaters and am glad to see them making a comeback in that fabric or knit. It looks like it was made of polished cotton ir raw silk, but I can’t figure out a lot of today’s blends. I used to be a buyer for a small boutique chain. I did the displays and merchandised the stores. I loved putting up displays and decorated the store windows by dressing the mannequins in the latest fashions and surrounded them with the closest upcoming holiday fare. I try to keep up with trends, but have been ill for numerous years. Anyway I love the sweater (as well as the total Valentine’s Day outfit). It is perfect for a casual night out or even a party.
