Denim on Denim

If you had asked me a few years ago if I would rock the denim on denim trend, I probably would have said “sure, why not?”  If you had asked me if I’d rock denim on denim like this, I more than likely would have said “yeah, probably not…”  What I mean by “denim on denim like this” is two denim pieces in similar shades.  I used to think this was a no no (and maybe it is) but I am seriously loving this comfy and casual look.  It’s makes me seriously ready for fall.  I think part of what works for me is that the denim is distressed.

Now let’s talk about that bag.  How cute is this big leather bag from 9th & elm?  9th & elm is an online boutique site that specializes in “Handmade, independent, or otherwise cool™” goods.  They have lots of fun items from unique sources.
