Floral Kimono

Kimonos – especially floral kimonos – are a longtime favorite of mine.  Ever since my art teacher gave me one of her old floral kimonos/robes, I’ve been hooked.  I was probably a preteen then.  For years since, I have looked for opportunities to wear one and/or find one with little success.  So naturally I was very excited when I found this floral kimono at TJ Maxx.  It is very similar to the one of my past.  Twelve year old me actually had great style, I think!  This kimono definitely falls on my current favorites list.  However, I am also looking for a white floral kimono.  I like for kimonos to be higher in the front and lower in the back, have subtly fluted sleeves, be breezy and lightweight (though sheer is not a necessity), and have a beautiful pattern.
