Skater Skirt (similar on sale for $12.99!) | Quilted Clutch | Nude Ankle Strap Heels | Denim Shirt (old, similar 30% off) | Cuff
The chambray/denim shirt has to be the single most used item in my closet. It’s one of those pieces that you can pair with nearly anything and wear year round. I wear it as a swim suit cover up or with cut off shorts or a skater skirt (as I’ve done here) in the summer. In the fall, I pair it with a midi skirt, jeans, or joggers, or simply with some thick leggings and boots. I have several denim shirts, but I think this old J. Crew number is my all time favorite. It’s sort of my go-to when I’m not sure what top to pair with something.
Take, for instance, this floral-ish skater skirt. I found the skirt on major sale at Piperlime back in December during one of their huge sales. I’ve worn it a couple times but for some reason it just never made it’s way over to the blog (like so many pieces before it). Somewhere deep in my closet is the boulevard of not-blog-worthy clothes. This skirt was hanging out there, but that was obviously a mistake, as it’s clearly blog-worthy. I really wish you could still get it, but I’ve linked a sort of similar skirt that is on sale for just $12.99. So you can most certainly go recreate this look.
As always, if you ever recreate a look I suggest, please tag me on Instagram or email it to me so I’m sure to see it.
