I’ve never been to Coachella, but I definitely love seeing all the festival fashion on Instagram, Snapchat, and YouTube. And this maxi skirt is giving me some low key festival vibes.
Sage Green Maxi Skirt
Lately I’ve been obsessed with maxi skirts, particularly of the floral variety. I hunted and hunted for one for a few weeks but I really had three criteria: 1) it had to be affordable, 2) it needed to fit at the natural waist, and 3) it needed to work with my height. This one worked perfectly! It’s under $15 (I’ll give you a second to pick your jaw up off the floor). Next, it fits at the natural waist. I sized up so it would fit better in the booty (I had nightmares of it splitting when I sat down or something. no thank you), so the waist is actually a little looser than I’d like. However, with the shirt tucked in, it works well. Finally, the length works well with my height (5′ 3/4″. it matters). I would so love to wear it with flat sandals or sneakers and that won’t quite work. But with my favorite Tory Burch wedges, it looks perfect!
I absolutely adore the sage green color and the little peekaboo of leg that you can really only see when walking. I wore this same skirt the other day with a denim jacket instead of a cardigan and, I can’t lie, I felt super cool. And I got compliments on my look so, you know. On top of everything, this look is super comfy. I’ll definitely be repeating soon.
