Happy Monday! Hope you’re thoroughly enjoying your Labor Day weekend! I’ve been playing catch up on some work, but I did manage to get out a little to enjoy the beautiful weather. It seems like as soon as September hits I’m ready to break out all the fall things and first up is typically sweaters. This fall season, I’m pretty sure I’m going to be all about the longline cardigan. I’ve already started a small collection and have been wearing them pretty much every day (as long as it’s cool enough that I don’t sweat thinking about it).

The Longline Cardigan

It’s still getting mighty hot during the days but the morning and evenings around here have been quite pleasant. I’ve been DYING to wear cardigans so I’ve been using them as my main transition piece so far during the transitional weather. I recently ordered this one and could not be more pleased. It’s pretty thin so it adds a touch of a fall feel without being too heavy. It’s perfect to throw on with a strappy cami and jeans as I’ve done here. I also like it added to a simple summer dress.

I’ve kept this look semi-summer with the caged sandals but I’ll soon be throwing on booties to complete the look.
