Happy Monday, loves! Valentine’s Day is just days away! As I mentioned in my Vday post last week, we don’t usually celebrate on Valentine’s Day. But that doesn’t mean that we don’t like to get a little dressed up. We did some of our Valentine’s Day celebrating a little early, but I think this darling red dress is perfect for a Valentine’s date night. It’s such a beautiful shape and because it comes in petite (shorties rejoice), it has an almost tailor-made feel. Best of all though, it’s under $50! Shipping is usually pretty fast (and free with $40 purchase) so if you order today or tomorrow it should be here in time. Just double check the estimated date before you check out.

This past weekend N and I did some of our celebrating a little early. For Christmas, one of our gifts to each other was tickets to see one of our favorite artists in concert. Well  the concert was Friday, so I picked him up from work, we went to dinner, then we headed to the concert. It was probably one of my favorite concerts ever, and that’s really saying something. Then on Saturday, he surprised me with tickets to see the Atlanta Ballet perform Moulin Rouge. I felt really bad for him having to sit through the ballet at first, but he said he actually enjoyed it! The rest of our weekend was filled with cooking, a little blog work, a nap (I’m NOT a nap person, but I definitely enjoyed this one), and the Super Bowl (duh). We had a full weekend but it felt almost magical. The weekends are usually pretty work-heavy for us, so sometimes we forget to just enjoy our time together. We have more fun planned next weekend and I can’t wait. I’m reminded of the phrase “a Sunday well spent brings a week of content.” Well, this has particular meaning to me right now. I feel like I’m starting the week off on the right foot. Let’s do this!

Thanks so much for choosing to stop by! It means more to me than you know 😀

Much love,
