A couple months ago I had the privilege of being a bridesmaid in my best friend’s wedding. She had a beautiful barn wedding (seriously, can I get married again) and asked each of the bridesmaids to wear cowboy boots. I didn’t own any cowboy boots so I found an affordable pair of boots on Amazon. I knew that I wanted something of a heel, but the pair I selected didn’t offer me as much height as I had hoped. I know we’ve established this….I’m short. So any kind of height in my shoes is my friend. Otherwise I tend to look like a small caveman. I wasn’t thrilled about having to return them and hunt for a new pair. Plus, I had already gotten the stamp of approval from the bride (she’s easy going so this wasn’t really a big deal). So I decided to make them work.
Invisible Heels to the rescue. The Invisible Heels team was so friendly and helpful and sent me several options to test out right away. I ended up wearing the 1.5″ option and they were absolutely perfect. They actually made my shoes fit better and made my feet feel better as a result. I wore them the ENTIRE wedding weekend and all day on the wedding day and my feet were comfortable the entire time. In fact, my feet didn’t hurt until that night when I took my shoes off after an evening of dancing (if what I do qualifies as such). I was so excited about my secret that, being the nerd that I am, I was going around to all the other bridesmaids showing them the cool inserts I had in my shoes. They acted amused but they probably thought I was a creep. Lesson learned. Next time I’ll just tell you. You get me.
