By now (if you visit Mae Amor often) you’ve probably noticed that I really love my straw boater hat and tan crossbody bag. I always try to be intentional about what I pack and I really feel like I nailed it on my recent trip. I didn’t overpack AT ALL (weird for me) and I used basically everything in my bag. I was surprised, however, by how much I used these two items. They ended up being my daily go-tos because when something works, it works. I originally had four hats selected to take with me, but at the last minute I decided to just bring one. It worked out because this is the one I wanted to wear. However, the result is that you see it in every post. Worth it.
Another item that became a go-to was this pair of shoes. They are seriously comfortable flats and hold up really well. We did A LOT of walking in Hawaii. I wore my 6 year old Chacos for most of the intense walking/hiking, but it came to be that the shoes above became my favorite relief shoes. We spent the weekend in Phoenix on our way back from Hawaii and I wore these basically the whole weekend. I loved that I could wear these flats, comfortably, and still feel put together.
