Printed Joggers

I have a little bit of a thing for printed joggers.  Well, printed pants in general really. But printed joggers can be sort of a challenge to wear, particularly for a shortie like me.

But I’ve been working super hard on getting back into shape after my post-stressful-job-weight-gain (because, you know, I had time to eat after I quit).  I’ve been running everyday for a few weeks and eating well and I guess it started to get to my head.  I slipped into these pants and had a “look, ma! No pooch!” moment.  Then I saw the pictures and realized I might not be quite there. At least I felt good!

Honestly though, it feels so good to be active again.  When I was working long hours, fitness just couldn’t be a priority.  Now Nick and I run together and this is the highlight of both of our days. We run down our trail while we listen to music separately.  This is our chance to clear our heads of whatever happened that day.  Then we walk back to our car while we talk and appreciate nature together.  It’s kind of awesome.
