Black Cape Coat
This is the look I wore for Halloween this year. No, it’s not a costume, but I decided that I didn’t really want to do anything Halloweeny. Normally I decorate the house, carve pumpkins, dress up, pass out candy, and watch spooky (not horror) movies in the weeks leading up to Halloween. I just wasn’t feeling it this year so I told Nick ahead of time that I just wanted to go to a movie. So we went to see Fury, which I quite enjoyed (I, like, really love going to movies – I get it from my mama). We snuck out of our house before any trick or treaters came to our door. It was cold and rainy, so not many were still out when we got home. Awkward I-don’t-have-any-candy-should-I-even-answer-the-door moments avoided.
Back to the look. How perfect is this black cape coat? This is a great addition to any fall wardrobe. It can easily be dressed up or down, but adds a little glam element to any look. I’ve been wearing it so much lately. It’s easy to just toss it on over whatever I’m wearing and it is super cozy. Not to mention that it’s the easiest way to tame a wild and crazy mane on a windy day and give you an instant Olivia Palermo ‘do (kind of).
The cape coat is a definite must-have for me this fall. What are your fall/winter must-haves?
Happy Wednesday!
