Black and White Pairing

If I can say one thing about my personal style, it’s that I know how to wear a plain tee.  When I wear something with a little more detail (like the scalloped hem shorts and laser cut bag), I like to pair it with something toned down (like a plain tee).  My personal style journey has been one of exploring lots of different looks and mixing pieces.  I mix high and low priced items, I mix formal and casual, I mix masculine and feminine.  I think that’s what fashion is all about anyway.  It’s about experimenting and figuring out what works.  Sometimes things don’t work and sometimes you discover something amazing.  One trick to try when experimenting with different pieces is to keep the look monochromatic or black and white.  Black and white naturally compliment one another so mixing items in those colors can have a pretty nifty result.
