Holiday Gift Guide: Josie Maran Argan Oil

Josie Maran Escape to Morocco Kit

Josie Maran Escape to Morocco Hair and Body Beautifiers Kit

I LOVE Josie Maran’s Pure Argan Oil, so when I saw  this gift set that includes all of these products, I could not resist it.  I’ve been using all of these products for a few weeks now and wanted to share a little bit of what I like and don’t like about them.  Overall, I like all of these products and think that this set would make a wonderful gift for any lady in your life.  I’ve shared the information from the back of the box as well as my thoughts from using the products below so to help you out if you do not intend to buy the whole kit.

Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil

100% Pure Argan Oil

An organic multitasking moisturizer, loaded with essential nutrients.

How to use: Apply to face, hair and cuticles to condition and hydrate.

This product is what turned me on to Josie Maran’s products. It’s multipurpose (like so many of these) and super hydrating.  I’ve been mixing this in with my primer or foundation every morning.  My skin gets really dry in the winter, so this has been a lifesaver!  I’m not sure how my skin will react in the summer but for the winter this product is great. I’ll drop this in my makeup bag and when I’m on the go, I’ll grab a teeny tiny drop (oh yeah, it has a dropper!) and put it on the ends of my hair.  If you only buy one of these products, this one is probably the way to go.

Josie Maran Whipped Argan Body Butter in Vanilla Apricot

Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter in Vanilla Apricot

Velvety, rich, infused with Argan Oil for instantly revitalized skin.

How to use: Smooth onto skin after bath or shower.

I probably have the least experience with this one.  I’ve tested it out in small spots and it has a really smooth and thick feeling.  I have used it on my hands but haven’t gone full body yet.  It’s sort of a small tub so I don’t know how far it would go.  I definitely want to try it I haven’t gone there yet.

Josie Maran Argan Cleansing Oil

Argan Cleansing Oil

A blend of natural, “good oils” that dissolves “bad oils,” dirt and makeup.

How To Use: Apply evenly to dry face, then wet face and massage into rich milk. Rinse; pat dry.

I’ve been using the Argan Cleansing Oil as part of my daily routine and think it’s great.  I am not sure that I would replace my regular face wash with this product.  It may be fine for winter but I’m thinking that the oils would be too much in the summer.  I’m still using my regular face was and this cleansing oil.

Argan Infinity Intensive Creamy Oil

Starts as a cream, melts into an oil with infinite uses.

How To Use: Smooth onto face before applying makeup, or smooth flyways, or condition lips, or…

This one is tied for first place with the 100% Pure Argan Oil.  It has multiple uses, but it does each of it’s jobs well.  Right now I am relying heavily on this product to keep my lips hydrated.  I apply this throughout the day and I even use it as a base before I apply lip stick.  I have also tried mixing it with my makeup and it did a great job.  You can even put it in your hair, which I have done.  It’s a lightweight oil and does not feel greasy.  I’ll probably keep this one in my makeup bag year round.

Whipped Argan Oil Intensive Hand Cream in Vanilla Apricot

Lightweight, never-greasy and rich, hydrates and soothes.

How To Use: Massage into rough, dry hand for instant softness.

This one is great for soothing dry hands.  It’s really creamy and makes my hands feel so soft.  I like to apply this to my hands and dry elbows before bed.

Argan Oil Hair Serum

Ultra-light, never greasy; moisturizes and seals split ends on wet or dry hair.

How To Use: Apply a few drops through hair, focusing on the ends.

This product really needs no explanation except that it’s amazing.  I have been using this product, as well as the 100% Pure Argan Oil, and have stopped using Moroccan Oil (disclaimer: I ran out of MO and still plan to buy it again).  The great thing about this hair serums is that you only need a little bit.  I use it when I get out of the shower, I use a little bit after I blow dry my hair, then use just a teeny bit after my hair is completely styled. Love!

This is what the whole Josie Maran Escape to Morocco kit looks like.  I would highly recommend buying the whole kit so that you (or the lady you are buying it for) can try all of the products.  I’ve been incredibly impressed with all of them.
